Together we can help minimise the risk of catching or spreading coronavirus (COVID-19) by making sure
— To be VACCINATED against COVID19 and to
wear a mask
Wear a properly fitted mask, making sure your mask covers your nose, mouth and chin. When used correctly, wearing a mask may reduce the spread of coronavirus droplets from coughs, sneezes and speaking.
Keep your distance.
Keep physical distance of at least 1 metre from others.
Covid is spread from one person to another, the closer you are to others, the higher the risk and the greater the opportunities for the virus.
Wash your hands frequently and practise good hand hygiene
Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitiser throughout the day. Regular hand washing is an effective way to reduce your risk of catching illnesses, including COVID-19.
Get tested and self-isolate if you have symptoms
Self-isolate immediately even if your symptoms are mild. Many people experience mild symptoms from COVID-19, but may still pass on the virus to others.
Take a test before visiting higher risk settings
Testing before visiting higher risk settings helps to protect those at greater risk of serious illness.
Keep indoor spaces well ventilated
Let fresh air in to increase ventilation and reduce the risk of catching or spreading COVID-19
